The “WA Major Projects Conference” will be held on the 29th & 30th of March 2010 at the Perth Convention Centre, Perth, WA .
One of the greatest challenges which we are faced with today is the creation of infrastructure to sustain the high economic growth and enhance the standard of living. To develop a world-class infrastructure, the priority of the WA State Government has been to partner with both the private sector and the Commonwealth to deliver these projects that in turn will underpin the State's future economic development which is essential in shaping the future of WA.
Infrastructure provides essential functions for the economy and society such as transportation, water, energy & urban development. While each of these sectors has their own specific characteristics, they have much in common: their adequate operation depends on the effectiveness and interplay of complex physical and institutional networks. The WA State Government is investing immensely into various transport, water, energy & urban development projects. These projects will give rise to immense opportunities within the state. Best practices and cutting edge technologies will be put into place to ensure optimal results are achieved from the early stages of the design, throughout the project delivery
